> Dental Examinations:
Dental examinations play an important role in your overall health. The American Dental Association recommends visiting your dentist on a regular basis to obtain professional cleanings and oral exams. Regular examinations can help your dentist detect problems early; making them easier to treat.
> Dental Cleanings:
Cleanings involve using various dental tools to eliminate built-up plague and tartar from your teeth. Dental cleanings are rarely painful and generally take less than an hour to complete. Individuals with a heart condition should advise their dentist prior to receiving dental cleanings. Otherwise, patients could place their self at risk for
bacterial endocarditis; a condition which can seriously affect the heart.
> Professional Fluoride Treatments:
Fluoride is a mineral that, when applied to teeth, can help prevent cavities and repair teeth in microscopic stages of disease. Professional fluoride treatments are available in many forms including: solutions, gels and rinses. They can be applied using a cotton swab or brush; placed in a tray inserted into the mouth; or as a mouth rinse.
> Dental Sealants:
Dental sealants are a plastic material applied to the chewing surfaces of teeth. Sealants are usually adhered to the back teeth only since this is where decay occurs most frequently. The primary purpose of dental sealants is to protect the depressions and grooves of molars and premolars against acid and plaque.
> Dental Fillings:
Dental fillings are used to repair tooth damage caused by physical trauma or decay. Although there are various types of dental composites available, White Wolf Dental only uses porcelain and white fillings to match your natural tooth color.

> 3D X-Rays:
Our office uses the latest imaging technology; 3D X-Rays using the Prexion scanner. A typical scan takes about 30 seconds and captures a precision digital detail of your full jawbone, teeth and surrounding head and neck. This detailed view will reveal any dental issues and hidden health concerns. The 3D X-ray improves dental implant planning and placement, provides early identification of hidden dental problems, and reduces radiation by 95%.
> Root Canals:
Root canals involve the removal of diseased pulp tissue inside a tooth. Dental pulp consists of blood vessels, nerve tissue and lymph tissue. When dentists perform root canals, they remove the infected tissues, cleanse the canals, and fill the root canals with materials aimed to prevent pain and infection from recurring.
> Professional Teeth Whitening:
Professional teeth whitening applications are one of the most popular cosmetic dentistry enhancements. Home teeth whitening systems use low-dose whitening agents, while dental office whitening systems utilize a much higher concentration. When teeth whitening occurs in the dental office, patients are carefully monitored to ensure the proper
amount of bleaching gel is distributed to yield immediate visible results.
> Cosmetic Enhancement:
Cosmetic enhancement can transform your natural teeth and help you create a beautiful radiant smile with great function. Cosmetic dental enhancements can enhance the appearance of your face, change your smile, assist in proper chewing, improve your self-esteem, and forever change your life.

> Dental Implants:
Dental implants are quickly becoming the preferred dental treatment for replacing missing teeth. Dental implants are permanently placed within the gums and help stop bone degeneration which occurs when teeth are extracted.
For denture wearers, dental implants provide added stability and allow patients to eat a variety of foods they normally cannot chew. Dental implants help restore confidence to denture wearers by eliminating the fear of having their denture drop down when smiling, talking or eating.

> Laser Gum Therapy (LANAP)
Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP) is an FDA-approved laser gum treatment therapy used to remove attachment of gum and bone tissue around the teeth. White Wolf Dental uses Periolase; the only laser designed specifically for laser periodontal therapy.
LANAP is a relatively simple process which typically requires two 2-hour sessions. However, with Periolase, there is no cutting or stitches. Most patients feel well enough to return to normal duties directly after treatment.

> CEREC Dental Crowns:
White Wolf Dental provides our patients with permanent dental crowns in one visit. No more wearing a temporary crown for weeks. No more returning to the dentist to have the permanent crown seated.
At White Wolf Dental, we use the CEREC system, manufactured by Sirona; a world-class leader in dental equipment. CEREC allows dental professionals to produce metal-free restorations (crowns, onlays and inlays) in a single visit. Discover more about CEREC and available options at www.cereconline.com

> Sedation Dentistry:
At White Wolf Dental, we take our patients comfort seriously and offer various forms of sedation therapy. Sedation dentistry can alleviate fear and anxiety by relaxing the patient to the point where he or she feels nothing during the procedure and most likely will not remember anything about it.
White Wolf Dental team members are licensed to administer both oral (pill) and intravenous (IV) sedation. Our staff will be happy to discuss each option in depth prior to your scheduled treatment.
A more in-depth review of sedation dentistry is available on our Sedation Info page. Should you have questions or need further information, call us at 386.304.1181 to arrange a complimentary consultation.

> Oral DNA Testing:
Oral DNA testing is a groundbreaking diagnostic tool used to determine if patients are at risk for periodontal infections and bone loss. Studies show periodontal infection is related to systemic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and some forms of cancer.
Oral DNA testing can monitor the presence of pathogenic bacteria and provide an “early warning” for bone loss risk or reassurance that you are in good health.
Dr. Valenzi offers Oral DNA testing to detect the bacterial causes and genetic traits of each individual patient. Since periodontal infections affect each patient differently, Oral DNA testing allows us to know exactly which antibiotics will be most effective. When combined with laser or conventional gum treatment,
targeted antibiotics can lead to higher success rates.
> Smile Reminder:
Smile Reminder allows our office to communicate with patients via e-mail and/or text message. Using Smile Reminder technology, White Wolf Dental can remind patients of upcoming appointments, follow-up care, medication and health alerts, birthday greetings and more.
> CariFree:
White Wolf Dental is pleased to offer CariFree; a new dentistry technology that helps to reduce the risk of cavities. CariFree neutralizes oral acid within the mouth to reduce or eliminate harmful bacteria which causes tooth decay.
CariFree treatment kits include a three month supply of rinses, gel and mouth spray. CariFree is available through the White Wolf Dental office or can be ordered directly from www.CariFree.com .
