Dr. John Kulaga was born in Yonkers, New York and has called Florida home since 1989. After graduating high school in St. Augustine, Dr. Kulaga earned his BS in Biology and then an MBA from the University of North Florida. He then returned to New York to attend New York University’s College of Dentistry, where he excelled in patient care.
While attending NYU, he was exposed to a broad range of dental specialties and observed some of the latest techniques being performed. This early exposure to complex procedures instilled a drive to learn advanced techniques that few general dentists study.
Today he continues on his path of clinical excellence by taking at least 100 hours of continuing education each year. Some of his more recent accomplishments include courses in Six Month Smiles for straighter teeth, the Kör whitening system for a long lasting and brighter smile, and full mouth smile designs. To make sure his patients have the most comfortable experience, Dr. Kulaga has extensive conscious sedation training through DOCS education for oral sedation and IV sedation training from Georgia Regents University. He is also the developer of the Diamond Hybrid prosthesis used for the Teeth in a Day procedure. With this new innovative prosthesis, patients have the beauty and strength of ceramic, but at the same cost as inferior plastic prosthesis commonly used. All of these accomplishments are leading towards a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Kulaga’s ultimate goal is to give every patient the best cosmetic and clinical outcome possible while putting you at ease in the dental chair. He will treat you as one of his family!
